Years Riding:
Grew up next to the Pmb Cascades UCI course. Started riding ‘Makro Specials’ in that forest from the age of 14. Love for 2 wheels has grown since then.

Sports Highlights:
– Hiked to Everest Basecamp carrying a 18kg pack,
– Running the 100km Mongolia utra-trail race,
– Completing Raleigh International Adventure Race in Borneo, Malaysia
– Completing 4 ultra-marathons in 5 months in 2006,
– Rode a KTM from London to Cape Town via the west coast of Africa
– Completing 3 Comrades marathons (90km)
– Completing 2 half Ironman (with the wife!), and 1 full Ironman
– Finishing the Freedom Challenge (Race across South Africa) 2500km unsupported MTB race in 19 days ( www.jodyforrester.com/freedom )
– Completing Cape Epic, finishing top 250
