So arrived in Sofia and alas no bike box, and no idea where it is – thanks allot Qatar, on my toes from day -2
Ok plan B: have now booked myself onto same flight from Sofia to Burgas tomorrow at 5pm, hoping to get bike here on Doha 1pm flight tomorrow. But will also work this afternoon on plan C of teeing up a replacement bike at a shop here in Sofia. No bike by 1pm – pull trigger, buy, keep in box and rush to airport. Then straight to briefing to collect cap and tracker and hopefully get dispensation on bike and PPE inspection. Build bike Friday night. Start Sat 6am. Boom
So on we roll – silver lining – May be a N+1 opportunity here.
A quite G&T in the airport, then off we go to reccie bikes in Sofia town. Gotta love this international adventuring malarky !!! 😂😂
